Another thing you can try is to adjust the input language on your text entry fields, in case it is using a Chinese keyboard. You can do this through the PS4 Settings.
- From the home screen, select [Settings]
- Select [Language]
- Select [Input Languages]
- Select [Keyboards and User Dictionary] and then select the languages you wish to use
From there, you can change which keyboard you're using when you enter text.
- From the on-screen keyboard, tap the Touch Pad
- Switch keyboard languages by using left or right buttons on the controller, then press X to confirm
Please try that with English, or another roman-based character language, and let me know how it goes.
