Logitech G35 sound issues

Using Logitech G35 headsed and I'm encountering a strange audio problem.

Whem I'm playing, certain sounds will not play. Example: I aim and fire at an enemy, but there is no noise coming from my gun while I can still hear all the sounds from everything else around me. This happens randomly and its not always the gunfire that gets muted, sometimes its soldier voices or vehicle noises.

This is extremely annoying, any ideas?
