Still having problems with this but only when using the new Graphics card. Now I have tried...
-Reinstalling the VC redistrituble
-Rolling back to non-beta AMD drivers
-Deleating eveything in %temp%
Still have my ticket open in Puinkbuster (on note #14) but servers with punkbuster disabled wont let me on either.
Punkbuster Log files show PnkbstrA service working OK but no sign of PnkbstrB it never activates. It may not have time as I dont get to the deploy screen.
The Error mesage always comes up at the "Transitioning" stage of loading.
I appriciate the issue seems to be with the Graphics card but it works on plenty of other games including BF3.

Now I have upgraded the RAM to 8Gb to see if it helps... it doesn't
I have had the occasioanal connection during many tests and various but nothing I could recreate. proabbly beenon about 3 time inthe last month of trying.
Now in the EA support system been though the live Chat partand have been told its a connection issue and a specialist will contact me.

Yeah dude I'm getting this eroor too. I'm just glad I bought it from a sale really, but it's annoying because I can't play (same as you)
Just too add after installing AMD's new graphics drivers and the latest patch the game still does not work for me.
Jan 13 patch did nothing for me
