Lots of lag even with updated GTX 660 graphics card

Hello all,

I have a GTX 660 and an i5.  So I should be able to run the game without any issues.  I had major lag and framerate issues during botht he beta and the current release.  I have properly updated my drivers and have good 30mb/s internet yet an experiencing issues regardless of what I set the graphics at.  I performed the test provided in the video options menu and it said I should turn down the graphics.  Doing so has not solved my problems.

I am unsure why my graphics card does not work well with the game given the GTX 660 is the card identified in the recommended system requirements.  Help would be appreciated.  I am aware that the game is in its early stages so I hope my issues will be resolved soon.  Thanks for your help.

    Run DXSETUP.exe from this location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4\__Installer\directx\redist

  • Thanks for this solution, it solved some of my lag issues, although I am still experiencing some problems on certain servers, especially on the 64 person maps.  This however may be server specific.

I also sometimes am having the crashing problem that others have reported.

I just want to play the game!

Anyway, thanks for your feedback, it was helpful.
