Low fps, any game mode, any video setting, unless i play by myself or a handful of online players. i'm 100% sure it's not an internet problem, i have low ping. i have played the game normally with ultra graphics before. i considered it a ram problem, but as i said it worked very fine before. when i play my other games, my fps is normal, it seems battlefield 1 is the only game i have trouble with. I even ran a bench mark, and updated my GPU driver, still no effect. Any idea how i can fix?FYI: The pic above is me trying my battlefield 1 in very very low graphics, sadly still no difference in fps(upper right corner)my system is:Intel i7700HQGeForce GTX 1060 6GB8 gb ram

Your CPU temperatures are a little too high for stable gaming. And the GPU temperature is actually quite low for a full load capacity maybe due to reduced game settings? If you are somehow able to get the CPU temperatures under 60 you will be able to at least play without choppy image? How to do this is a bit tricky and might require addition cooling hardware.-Computer chipsets use the same software on both desktops and laptop so upgrading this wont be a problem-Update videocard GPU driver regularly as it improves visuals and FPS-64 players demands a lot of internet speed and faster computer then smaller servers do.-Note that 1080P for a game also demands a lot of processing power, i would try to play at 720P and see if it changes anything.-It seems like your cooling fan is controlled by the BIOS / UEFI therefore any change to this is done with the BIOS / preboot settings.-If your laptop still has any warranty i would contact the supplier (Asus, MSI etc.) laptop support department and ask for assistance with a BIOS upgrade due to fanspeed problems. I would not advice you to try this yourself without any prior knowledge as it could break the system.

This adds some functionality to things like player lookup during a game but also tends to cause some more CPU usage. So best to disable it altogether:-Also for best gaming experience i would always disable all windows eye candy like the ®MS Windows Aero theme, remove as many icons as possible from desktop etc etc to keep increasing the gamespeed if this is the priority of the :

-yes, i have the latest driver
-yes, it is in (auto select) is this the right option?
-no i haven't disabled the v-sync but i tried meddling with the fps limiter
-yes i have rebooted and checked.

I just updated my driver today as you said
changed the physX to GPU
set the limiter to 120 fps
-STILL THE SAME-

My friend told me to update my origin, but when i try to click the "restart now" button, or manually restart origin myself, origin still doesn't update to the latest ver. (maybe that's the reason?)
are there other ways to optimize the game? I really miss playing BF1 properly again

- FPS limiter to 90
- Disable Origin in-game overlay in settings
- Let Origin auto update itself (it will prompt you) via settings
- Change ingame screen resolution to 1080p and render resolution to 100%
- Remove BF1 settings folder from user\documents folder as test \temporarily move to desktop)
- Install Intel chipset driver (again) & Network driver update if possible

Correct me if i'm wrong but there's no 90fps limiter in bf1 settings
i have disabled it
i have origin auto updated
there's no 1080p resolution there, (i think i'm just a noob for not knowing the 1080p's counter part)
i have removed the settings thingy, and placed it in my desktop
all drivers and chipsets are latest, idk how to reinstall chipset driver (again i'm somewhat noob in software)

over all the things i did now, still no effect, i'd like to thank you for all your current help, i hope we could solve this problem, thank you.

- At what resolution do you play?
- Intel chipset driver just download, extract and install then reboot the system.
- Is it a laptop? Then you might have lower power utilization while not connected to the net-adapter?

@Dreaded_fate23 what OS are you running? Are you using DX11 or DX12? Do you have Origin in game enabled or disabled? Are you using discord while playing and if so is the discord overlay enabled?

i will download this driver, but i have an Asus laptop, would it change anything? idk? but i'm willing to try

i'm using DirectX 12 version
i have origin enabled
i don't use discord while playing battlefield 1, its also not open
