M1911 vet kit not working

I went on ea help and I saw a manual and tips on battlefield 3 I looked down and saw "How do I unlock m1911" and it said in order to unlock m1911 you must log into the battlefield bad company website ...

    @AdamsWraith The reason that you do not have the M1911 is because Battlelog does not see you as a Battlefield veteran according to your Battlelog profile here:  http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/user/Ultra_GirlXo2016

    If you still have Bad Company 2 or can borrow it from a friend install it on your PS3, play a couple of rounds of multiplayer and then you should unlock the M1Garand in Bad Company 2 for being a veteran and then the next time you log into BF3 you will have the M1911 as your veteran weapon.

@AdamsWraith If you already have a copy of Battlefield 4 just play a round of multiplayer, and then you will unlock the M1911 in Battlefield 3.  After playing the round of BF4 you will also receive a veteran battlepack in Battlefield 4 that contains the ACB90 knife, veteran camouflage, veteran dog tag, and the 3x scope for the .44 magnum.  If you wish to use the M1911 in Battlefield 4 you must get kills with pistols which will unlock additional pistols along the way.  The M1911 will be the 6th pistol that you unlock in BF4.  You can expedite this process by joining pistol only servers in BF4 or purchasing the pistol shortcut unlock in the PSN store.

So just play one round on bf4 and I get m1911 in bf3 omg so pumped

    You got it @AdamsWraith! That's exactly how the process normally works. If you experience any issues with it not unlocking come back here and I can provide a process to contact customer support and they can add the appropriate entitlement manually.

      Thank you so much I just finished a round on bf4 I got eg tags and camos and the acb90 add me on battlelog please thanks for help I'm goin back on bf3 to check

      How long am I suppose to play battlefield 4 to get veteran status so when I log back to battlefield 3 on PS3 I can get my m1911
