Before you set up a static IP, go to your Console Network settings and click on "View Connection status" to see your current IP ect.
You need to remember the stats from "IP Address", "Subnet Mask", "Default Gateway" and the two "DNS" settings.
In the following steps you will all this stats the same again, just on the "IP Address" you have to check the last number. If you have for example "30" there or something, you can type this in manually again on one console. But on the other one make sure this last number is different! So for example you give the second console "31" then.
To set up a static IP for PS4 follw this steps:
- Start from PS4 main menu
- Go to Settings
- Network
- Set up internet connection
- Use Wi-Fi
- Custom
- Choose your network
- Now you can choose between "Automatic", "Manual" and "PPPoE" for the IP Address settings. Here you choose "Manual". Now you can manually type in a static IP Address for this console + the other things like Subnet Mask, Gateway ect.
- After this "IP Address settings" step you finish the following steps as you usually did.
