Still having medal issues like everyone else here but I have found a way to get round the bug. This requires a friend who is in a server and isn't affected by the bug for this to work. All you need to do is join the friend under the 'Home' section of the main menu (not the party section). Very simple but it was overlooked while trying different methods. Here are some things that I have tried other than turning the game on and off or changing network settings.
- Joining friend using the method above has worked (Would like to hear if other players can see if this works for them as well).
- Joining a party/squad before joining a server caused the rest of the party to witness the bug themselves. Luckily won't effect them permanently and can be sorted by joining another server without myield in the squad/party.
- Joining servers in other regions hasn't worked.
- Joining empty servers hasn't worked.
- Using Xbox interface to find random players and join their game hasn't worked. (Creepy method but desperate times means desperate measures)
- Using the server browser and quickmatch functions hasn't worked.
- During loading screen staying on the medal tracking section hasn't made any difference.
A lot of fails and one success. Hopefully this will help some of you.
