Howdy
I have had the same main menu error. The background is loading but is so heavily darkened that it is all black if HDR is disabled and horridly dark and artifact-heavy when enabled. Similarly, the Options tab has the visual of the earth and looks correct, but most every other menu looks blank. Icons like arrows for scrolling through content are white squares. The BFV/BF Hardline/Watch menu sidebar is completely blank. The quit button is blank - but can be found and clicked. The Friends menu sidebar has text but the friends all have no avatars. Every single menu item is missing but the squares are present, light up, and can be interacted with.
I should note that this issue is not seen in Battlefield V and the OLD menu works fine by default until you agree to update, and then none of the icons load and the background's brightness settings are shot.
I have uninstalled then updated to current NVIDIA Driver 461.92. I have ensured all else is up to date. I have attempted clean boot. I have moved the game to C:/ Drive and back. I have uninstalled/reinstalled twice. I have deleted twinkle folder. I have cleared Cache for both Origin and EA Desktop. I have tried disabling EA Desktop overlay.
I did not have this issue in Origin back in November while on a brief EA Play subscription, but when switching to EA Desktop to use games via EA Play through Xbox Game Pass, the game has not loaded Main Menu correctly. Sadly I do not think there is any way to play the game via Origin again whilst using Xbox Game Pass, though I'm unsure if the issue is tied to a recent UI update or to Origin vs. EA Desktop.

EDIT: Battlefield V now also has icon and asset loading issues. Hardline no longer boots from Battlelog. Everything apparently is related to server issues with EA Desktop/Xbox Game Pass users.
