Monitor hangs.
Every time i shut down BF1 my monitor hangs, everything still works on my tv but my monitor just hangs. I have to unplug the power and put it back in to make it working again.
I have a asus ms228 ...
Yes the problem also happens when i unplug my tv.
I also tried to use the HDMI cable i normally use for my tv to connect my monitor and it still happens.
This monitor is about 5 years old and it has done this maybe 2 times before in the past.
But now every time i shut down bf1, even when i don't play, just start it up and shut it down it happens.
It's just a little inconvenience that i have to reset it but it is a weird bug and it shouldn't happen, i hope you can figure this out. cheers.
I have a similar problem when trying to "quit" any MP game. Screen goes black but I can still hear the game music. Unplug my monitor power, replug in, and either the game has already crashed and is back to Origin home screen or I have to force close BF1. I have none of the other issues mentioned by some players(freeze, FPS drops, stutter, etc), keep up to date on Windows updates, and system drivers, run a pretty clean system overall, no overclocking/tweeks.
The game ran fine for me in trial, had a few issues with Windows Update that caused my game to freeze for 5-6 sec a couple times per minute, but Windows Update repair solved that brief issue. Game ran good for me, and it still does, I just have an issue when trying to quit out of a match or quit the game altogether. I have had the problem since the BF1 patch the other day. 375.70 Nvidia drivers were what I was using before/after the patch, same result with crashing upon quitting game. Gave the 375.86 Nvidia drivers a try, no new issues, but still crash uopn game exit. I have done the "Repair Game" feature as well, to no avail.
