Mouse and keyboard don't work in the game- battlefield 4

I can not play the game. The mouse and keyboard is not working in the game. When it starts, I can see my mouse icon but can't click on anything, and keyboard doesn't respond to any command, except A...

Same problem here. It worked once then every subsequent time I try to play, the keyboard and mouse fail to respond to input.

Mouse: ASUS Rog laser mouse

Keyboard Asus G750JX laptop keyboard.

v. frustrating. Battlefield 3 works fine.
