Mouse Freezes and Keyboard Commands Lag
I've got an issue where I'll be playing my game and randomly my mouse movement begins to freeze and my keyboard commands seam to lag seconds behind when I actually made my input. It's really annoying...

I scanned twice and restarted twice both with no errors. Not only did it not work but now my Windows 7 custom themes don't work.
Aww man I am sorry windows does not like things like custom themes that alone can make issues in BF4. No disrespect to you but you have to be careful with stuff like custom themes as they can have bugs in them and the issues they give are fully not worth it.

I never had a problem with BF4 until 3 weeks ago, I've had this same theme running since the beta...
When the last patch and the last DLC came out programs people never had issues with started to give issue and I have no idea why. :womanfrustrated: BF4 is a hog to run no question and all the extra stuff we run when in game can fully have a effect. I cant say for sure ya its your theme but it is a good chance. And why the windows scan removed the theme/ mucked it up on you I have no idea other then windows does not like it .
Before you put the theme back in I would repair BF4 or even try this and test BF4 with out the theme just to rule it out. Twenty years ago I had a windows theme on win95 or win 97 I forget now but ohh man filled with spy **bleep** I just dont trust them still to this day lol once was enough for me lol.
BF4 folder in my documents holds game configs and screen shots even if BF4 is installed on different drive. When you uninstall BF4 it does NOT remove this folder. So when you install the game again you can still have the same issues.
1- Go to my Documents and remove BF4 folder place it on your Desktop or trash.
2- Be warned you do have to set up your in game settings again.
3-Repair BF4
4- When done go test your game.________________________________________________________________________________

Hope this helps, because it had driven me nuts, tried every suggestion on this site and some others. My problem ended up being the unifying receiver on my logitech keyboard and mouse. I had it installed in a rear usb port and never had the first issue with either the keyboard or mouse until BF4, so for most things it works fine there but with BF4 had lag and freeze issues... FIX (at least for me): move the unifying receiver from the rear of the tower, closer to the keyboard. I used the USB extension hub that came with the k/m combo and installed in the same rear port. All is fine now...
