Multiplayer Update 6 screwing up my battlefield 3 game.... (Xbox 360)

I have an Xbox 360 Arcade with a brand new battlefield 3 disk.

No HD textures installed as an Arcade and most Elites can't handle it. ☹️

When Update 6 is installed on my xbox, Battlefield allows me to get to the "Press Start" screen. Once I press start I get a "Disk cannot be read" Message from xbox.

Allows me to get passed the "press start screen when update 6 isn't installed. Can only play singleplayer.. I can begin to get on servers but it causes my whole Xbox to freeze...

I am currently downloading update 6 again via in-game and am trying it again..

Does anyone know how to fix this???
