I would agree with you if the ingame progress overview after a mulitplayer match got updated but this is not the case for me. Therefore I'm pretty sure that the overall progress isn't registered at all. Do you know if your progress on the phantom assignments was updated ingame (visible in the assignment overwiew tab after a MP match)?
Is there any update regarding this issue? I've contacted the support over a month ago and still no progress.

maybe this helps some of you guys: I simply deinstalled and re-installed the game. Since then the assignments are working again.
