Need help with OFFLINE Multiplayer on BF2

Not sure what is going on all the sudden with the BF2 when we try to play  OFF LINE account using LOCAL MAP to play "Multi-player". It was working just fine before and two computers but now, we cannot connect OFF LINE and when we update the off line created map "server", it is no longer shows the off line created map so the other player can join to play.  It is not my  networking issue, all the network connections are  good and in  working order. Is it something in the BF2 sitting or something changed?

Again this just happened as of month ago. I understand the ON LINE sever issues and the old server on line BF2 is no longer but we are not trying to do that, just the basic off line (network) Multi-player issue not being able to see the created map and play. 

I even reinstalled the game BF2 on both PC's and still not able to multi-play off line. I don't see any settings or anything that can assist me to resolve this issue. Any help is appreciated.
