Need Refund For BF2 bought on Amazon
Hi, I bought a Battlefield 2 from Amazon, it was saying that you can play online, everything looks good until you start the game and it actually is not connecting to any server and you cannot even make a multiplayer account, only singleplayer, in this case, I’m not interested in the purchase anymore, please refund!
Hi @l007lex Thanks for the image, I've moved our post over to the Battlefield boards.
Battlefield 2 is one of our older titles, to confirm we have shut down servers for BF2 on June 30, 2014. For information on servers that have been shut down, you can check out our Service Update page here.
We can try going through the following troubleshooting steps if you are trying to install or launch the game.
PC Troubleshooting:
Spoiler- Try the Game in different Compatibility settings
- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
- Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Install/Repair your VC++ files for your game (Microsoft VC++ Link)
- Restart your device in Clean Boot mode, then just try running the client and game
- Try a new user or admin account
However, if you want a refund instead you will need to speak with Amazon (or the seller on Amazon) for further assistance, as we can only assist with refund requests for orders made through the EA app (or ea.com)
Additional Information:

Please note these are for purchases through Origin/EA App, If you purchased the game through a retailer or another platform you will want to reach out to whoever you purchased the game from for further assistance.
Hope this helps!
