I would love DMRs being class-locked weapon for recon kit. Make them viable and lethal two to three shot killing machines with lowerish semi-automatic fire. High precision, high recoil — high power optics available for better marksmanship chances. Thanks!
I think this is an unpopular opinion from reading threads about class-locked weapons online, but I'm hoping that there are no weapon restrictions in the next game. I like being able to use whatever gun I like regardless of the class I'm using, so would prefer not to go back to being limited.
Obviously nobody knows how it'll work for definite right now, and it won't be the end of the world if Dice were to go back to restricting weapon choice again.

Locking DMRs to just the recon kit would seriously limit gameplay variety. One of the strengths of DMRs is their flexibility, they give players across different roles a mid-to-long range option without forcing them into a specific class.
That kind of versatility reflects how DMRs are actually used in real-life military settings too
