Right now, if you have Origin Access Premier, you can claim Battlefield V.
There will be a game tile in Origin, and the Pre-Order weapons will be available in Battlefield 1.

Thanks for the reply and info. I'm not sure if this will apply to what some of us are attempting to do. The OP states that he/she did just this, and yet still lost access to all Pre-order weapons in BF1 after cancelling the BFV preorder. This despite already having subscribed to Origin Access Premier.
We already have BFV pre-ordered, and want to upgrade Origin access to Premier, and cancel the BFV preorder. Yet, still maintain the pre-order weapons.
Are you saying EA has changed something? Or has the OP not completed a step? How exactly do we "claim BFV"?
Right now, I already see BFV Deluxe edition in origin library "Pre-load date: October 12, 2018".
The pre-order weapons were recently added to the Origin Access Premier version.
So, my understanding is that if you cancel your pre-order, you will lose access to the weapons, until you upgrade to Origin Access Premium.
