No audio through sound card.

No sound output when using my Asus Xonar U5 external USB soundcard. Using the on-board sound works fine. This problem persists in battlefield 3 and 4, all other applications work perfecly.

    Hello @iZpixl5

    Have you updated your drivers for audio card? Does you miss the sound only in those games? The sound in Windows works fine?

    Yes the drivers are up to date and it's only the battlefield games where it doesn't work.

    @iZpixl5

    Have you tried to change ingame audio settings? Also can you disable Origin in game for Battlefield 1?

  • I had a similar problem with my Asus Sabertooth 990 fx r2.0 motherboard. The sound just stop working in game with noise and disruption. I manage to fix mine after days of trial and error downloading the latest realtek audio driver. Even on Asus homepage the realtek driver was over a year old, i just went to http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/ and downloaded the latest version released this month. I'm not sure if that's the solution for you since you have a sound card but it could help people alot in general to try if the problem persist since Battlefield 1 doesn't seem to be compatible with a lot of older sound drivers.

    Hope you get it working!
