No "Battlefield 1" folder in My Documents and game runs as new every time

Product: Battlefield 1
Platform: PC
Summarize your bug My "Battlefield 1" settings folder is missing in my documents. Every time I load the game its like its loading for the first time and I have to play the prologue and none of my completed campaign missions save. My achievements are still saving in origin though. The beta game also didn't install the my documents "battlefield 1 beta" folder on my computer either.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I m not sure
What happens when the bug occurs? I have to start the game all over again
Please select your region Europe
In what game mode did the bug occur? Single Player Campaign
In what Single Player War Story did the bug occur? Prologue
AMD or Nvidia Model Number GeForce GT 1030
Enter RAM memory size in GB 16

My "Battlefield 1" settings folder is missing in my documents. Every time I load the game its like its loading for the first time and I have to play the prologue and none of my completed campaign missions save. My achievements are still saving in origin though. The beta game also didn't install the my documents "battlefield 1 beta" folder on my computer either.

BTW I JUST COPIED THIS FROM 8 YEAR OLD POST I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM

    @gksvr1 Ok so i found out what was the problem.
    It was the in the past i was renameing my user folder and for some reason it created another one in my native language and i think i was automatically trying to create the file in it the reason i did not have this problem with other games is because i usually manually selected it, so after deleting that profile and merging the document folder i was finally free from this nightmare that is missing file in documents since 1:30AM in morning

    Hi @DoDoBoBo4,

    It could be possible that Windows Security is preventing the game from saving your progress because it identified it as a "harmful" program.

    Windows 10.

    Spoiler

    1. Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection.

    2. Under Virus & threat protection settings, select Manage settings.

    3. Under Controlled folder access, select Manage Controlled folder access.

    4. Switch the Controlled folder access setting from On to Off.

    Windows 11.

    1. Select Start > Settings > Privacy & security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection.

    2. Under Virus & threat protection settings, select Manage settings.

    3. Under Controlled folder access, select Manage Controlled folder access.

    4. Switch the Controlled folder access setting from On to Off.

    Alternatively, you can choose to keep this setting turned on, but you have to add the game to the safe apps list in order to solve this issue.

    @gksvr1 shoud i just reinstall the game or try something else becose i really dont wana download 80GB again

    @DoDoBoBo4, I don't think reinstalling the game is a good idea. Alternatively, you can open the launcher and repair the game.

    I think It could be a permissions issue with your Windows user settings or program that is running is blocking the ability of programs to write to files in your user folder. Try launching both EA App and Battlefield 1 as administrator.

    Also, temporarily disable your antivirus software and see if that works.

    @gksvr1 It did not work i eaved installed EA App and still nothing and i also had anti virus off while launching game as adimin
