Try this if not done already...
Please update your Origin client to the latest Beta version (top left Origin menu, Application Settings - General) and then enable Safe mode Downloading (Application Settings - Advanced). Then try to install.

Dang ok let me ask this ... do you have origin and the games installed on the same drive? If not please try this as origin and the games need to be on the same drive. Or does the drive have lots of free room on it to install the game?

They're on the same drive and I have over a terrabyte of free space /:

Try this re- install origin only not your game just origin.
1. Uninstall Origin completely from Windows Control Panel.
2. Reboot your PC. This is important to clear out any lingering registry files or directories.
3. Download the latest here: http://origin.com/download
4. Install Origin You should not be prompted to update
