OK to delete Xpack files?
I noticed that there are Xpack files in the Updates folder that totals over 37GB. I love my free space, so I'm wondering, are these files still needed after the content has been installed? Or are the...
Hello @Tonis015
Keep the Xpack files untouched. Exactly as the previous guys have stated, those files contain data for the Expansion Packs.
What you can do however, is to delete all of your temp files. Temp files can safely be deleted. Run the command %temp%, and delete all of the possible files that you can find in the %temp% folder. You may already know about this, but i know that many people don't, so temp folders can easily build up in size if the files in them are not being removed during an extensive period of time. It's not unusual that some people has 10-30GB worth of temp files, just sitting there waiting to be removed.
You can also visit the WIndows folder (found on the disk where your OS is installed), then go into the Temp folder and delete all of the files in there. There's many programs out there that does this for you, but i prefer to do clean ups on my own.
Best of luck!
