Can you update/reinstall your GPU driver?
Also, If you have an SSD hard drive, move the game files to that hard drive or try reinstalling the game.

@gksvr1 I've had an issue before where I had to reinstall my gpu driver, it did nothing and I doubt it'll do anything now but i can try
