Origin denied access to folder
My BF4 suddenly (I say suddenly because this happened without me doing anything to my computer) can't update the latest game update; I get an error message like "Origin was denied access to the follo...
First of all you should close Origin and then start origin as administrator and see if that fixes things.
If not then it's probably due to a corrupted file which means you should:
- check harddrive integrity: http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-do-i-run-chkdsk/
- run a system file check: http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-do-i-run-the-sys
tem-file-checker/ - reinstall Origin
- repair BF4 and DLC's
- try running a clean boot: http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-clean-boot-yo
ur-pc/ - Try using the vc installers and the directx installer located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4\__Installer - then reboot and try again.
- Add the new BF4.exe file to all your firewalls
- Remove the settings folder in C:\Users\username\Documents\Battlefield 4\
