Hi burzurk88!
I think we can fix this issue, please keep us updated if your problem after this workaround still exist.
At first, download and install the latest version of Origin at www.origin.com/download (and make sure you have your Origin account ready as well)
If that doesn’t helped, close the origin client and go directly to you origin folder C:\Program Files\Origin Games. Run the origin.exe in this folder with a rightclick -> run as administrator.
This worked out in the most cases, if not, try to deactivate your firewall/antivirus software and/or check the online ports of your connection:
TCP: 80, 443, 9988, 20000-20100, 22990, 17502, 42127
UDP: 3659, 14000-14016, 22990-23006, 25200-25300
For specific instructions on how to open your ports, please visit http://www.portforward.com/ or contact your router manufacturer.
Cheers
Basti

Yesterday, when I have redeemed free BF3, I had same problem: Origin keept pausing my download every 200mb or so.
Today I've found solution to this problem. I don't know if it will work for you, but it's worth to try (download pausing every now and then is sooo frustrating).
Here we go:
- If you have router, make you to set DMZ option (should be under Forwarding menu) to your computers LAN IP.
- Close Origin and follow those instructions (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrgDc5Rv6xY) to switch Origin to [R&D mode] (developers version)
- Start origin as an administrator and accept config modification.
2nd step fixed my issues with downloading, also it's important to start Origin as admin, so it can write downloaded data to your HDD.
If that doesnt work, try flushing your DNS cache, I did it before finding out about this YT movie.
Instructions are here: http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-flush-dns-cache-for-windows/
Good luck guys, and I hope you will finish your download soon 🙂
