Origin in-game overlay not working for any games

Hello everyone.
Ever since I disabled the Origin Overlay because started creating bugs in Battlefield 1, I have played without it for months, but then I bought Titanfall 2 and it requires that I have the Overlay enabled. Sure thing. All looks good in the client's settings, Overlay enabled both in the game and in the app.

Oh wait what is happening? NOTHING. Absolutely nothing.
Okay let's clear the cache reinstall Origin.

NOTHING.
Okay, let's format the partition it was installed on.

NOTHING..
Let's do that again.

NOTHING.

Did anyone come across this problem before? it doesn't even work in Battlefield 1, Can't use my microphone, can't see the achievements unlocking in the UI as well. I have seen some other thread about this, saying that you should update your drivers and close steam in the background tasks. None of it helped. I have no other conflicting software with Origin except for Discord now which has an overlay as well, but it's always been disabled. and mind you I formatted again and the first thing I installed was Origin to see if the problem was solved.

Hi. I'm running Windows 10 Pro Insider Build 15025. It has nothing to do with my version of the build as I had this bug for months and I kept Updating my system everytime Microsoft releases an update in the Insider ring.

Try the following: Possible solution #1:

    1. Run a clean boot on your PC https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/
    2. Run Origin as Administrator and Test. Also, try to enable Origin Beta or disable it.

    Possible solution #2:

In your Origin Library, right click on the game icon and select Game Properties and make sure that Origin in game enabled in General tab.

as I have mentioned before, I already formatted the PC twice for this, in vain. I do have the beta updates enabled though, I'm going to try to Disable it.

What I'd like to know is, is there any command line arguments I can add to force the activation of the overlay? I forgot to say that the overlay option is enabled in the game properties as I mentioned in the first post.
