I recommend against turning off login verification since it adds a second layer of protection that prevents people from taking over your Origin account.
The key is to log in from the same device, the OP has not yet stated if he is trying to log in via a mobile, a table, or a PC which will make a difference.
Althoigh turning login verification off should resolve this do be warned it makes your Origin account more liable to be hacked.
