Origin Store-Buying Premium Without Base Game
I bought BF4 (base game) and I am waiting to recieve it. Origin is having a sale and BF4 Premium membership is cheaper at the moment. The sale ends on the 8th and it is unlikely the game will arrive before then. Can I buy bf4 premium now and acitvate it once i revieve the game? Or do I have to wait until the base game appears in my Origin account. Thankyou
Check your email. As I remember from past experience, Origin sends you the CDkey for your purchase as soon as the payment clears. So you might already have the activation key for BF4 even though you're waiting for a physical copy.
If you ordered a physical copy because of bandwidth caps, be aware that using the key will start downloading the game. If you also get premium, then it'll also download all the expanstion packs too.
