Origin will not launch game...

Dear EA<

thanks for stealing my money. I want it back or get this game to work. I open origin, I click on BF4, I get a cricle for 3-5seconds and then it disappears. Nothing else happens. Origin simlarly does not respond to opening up the help menu. I can only access help by browsing it online. In origin client, I see my games, everything appears, i click "play" and then NADA. How is this possible? not an error message, prompt, nothing? Ive tried all your solutiouns posted. WTF WTF WTF!

Tried: running as administrator, disabling all antivirus including in task manager, allowing origin as an allowed program --- everything. WTF?

I have a solution for those who are having trouble with ORIGIN client. THIS IS YOUR PROBLEM.
The only way around it, if you can get the browser plugin to install (be patient, I had to quit out and restart browser, clear cookies and all other temp data) -- then, I installed the origin client. I went to www.battlelog.com and then login through origin. Then go to games, click one, click play now, wait for install prompt, install everything, then press continue to play. The game then starts - it takes some time for server to be connected.
PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO MAIN MENU SCREEN. You have one in campaign, but not in multiplayer. You can access all options, graphics etc in game.
This solved my problem and I am now playign on all ultra settings with no issues. Thanks hope it works for you guys.

One thing I noticed with this same problem, is that if I click on the Origin icon in my taskbar at the bottom right of windows, other games are listed and ready for me to click to run, but BF4 is not there. For example, Star Wars: The Old Republic will run, if I click PLAY in Origin, double click on desktop or right click Origin icon in the taskbar. BF4 however, will not.
I feel your pain. Wasted night now...

Yeah, I have most of my games in steam - this is my first wonderful experience with origin (outside of Spore) years ago. I played all my other recent battlefields on consoles. Was excited about getting it to run in HD on the PC, and then this happens. Im in line with online tech support....give me a few minutes and I ll see what they say. Does your computer also give you no error messages?

And this has nothing to do with my PC. Im running an i7-3.3ghz, 12gb ram, nvidia770 2gb etc....

I have not gotten any error messages at all. I click PLAY and nothing happens. No message, no errors, no "you must something something in order to play"..
NOTHING.
$120 USD wasted. Deluxe pre-order and season pass.

I have also tried the following:
-Run as administrator (x86 and x64 .exe files on my desktop)
-Run in compatibility mode in Vista as well as Windows 7 (even though I am running Windows 7 Pro x64)
Still not working.
I will be requesting a full refund if the problem is not solved before 11:59PM tonight. Not an ultimatum of course, just stating my disappointment.
My main problem here is there is no error message stating why the game will not run. Absolutely NOTHING happens at all. I pre-ordered the Deluxe digital version of the game and the Premium Subscription. This is over $130USD and I can't even take advantage now that the game is released.
I might consider writing a very poor review about EA/Origin customer service as well as my thoguhts on the game (which at this point are horrible since I have yet to enjoy the game at all.)

Its incredible that there are no solutions to this. I mean how can there be no error messages whatsoever? From my point of view, this is clearly to do with a glitch with the origin game launcher. I think the BF4 files themselves are fine: its just rediculous that this kind of thing is not even addressed from EA at all. How many others have this issue?
Has anyone else updated to latest NVIDIA drivers? I don't think its related....but maybe others have similar problems?

Is there any error or warning in the Windows Event manager that occours at the same time as when the problem occours? Also have you tried doing a clean boot before trying?

I got the newest drivers last night, dated last night with WHQL updates in the driver itslef. I can launch other games from Origin (SWTOR) wihtout any problems.
