Overclocked monitor refresh rate through nvidia control panel forces windowed mode

I am using a 780 gtx sli configuration and overclock my monitor to 110 hertz for better frame rates.  The overclocked value is detected within battlefield, but forces the application to display only in windowed mode.  Changing any values (borderless, fullscreen, windowed) and then applying the changes has no effect on the actual display.  I tested this using both normal 60 hz and then the overclocked 110 hz mode.  60 hz displays full screen correctly but 110 hz does not.  

This is using nvidia 331.40 beta drivers.

Looks like this is a driver issue.

nvidia 320.49 drivers run the overclocked rates without any issue.
