[PC] - BF1 will not launch - Solved using regedit
So when I try to load the game, it minimizes origin, shows the blue circle on the cursor to load, pops up in task manager and then.. it disappears from task manager after 5 seconds and then reopens O...
Solved it. No thanks to EA support or anyone here I might add.
Here is the solution for the many people having the same problem.
This applied to any ActivationUI error or task manager only showing the process for a few seconds.
The exact error I received:
SpoilerActivationUI.exe - application error
"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click ok to close the application"
Solution:
1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. Type Regedit, and then click OK.
3. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\ActivationUI.exe
4. Delete this whole folder.Enjoy gaming with the terrible origin platform dudes!
