PC - Save file corruption
I saw many other posts regarding this issue, but they mainly seem to be for consoles.
Lastnight I was stuck in a permanent loading screen in multiplayer (this happens occasionally) so I closed Battlefield4 in my task manager. When I rejoined I received a message along the lines of my save data being corrupt. I checked my "PROFSAVE_profile" in wordpad and It was blank. As annoyed as I was, I rejoined the game anyway and set all my settings up again, this time making a backup of my "PROFSAVE_profile". I played a few more hours that night and then went to bed. When I tried joining a server this morning I receive the exact same error message of my save file being corrupt. When I try to replace the corrupted "PROFSAVE_profile" with my backup "PROFSAVE_profile" It still gives me the corrupt error.
The crashes and the server disconnects I could deal with, but this is just silly.
*EDIT*
I've reason to believe that the save file corruption was due to my local disk having no room left to write the save data onto, thus causing it to save incorrectly and corrupt.
I've fixed this issue thus far by ensuring there is enough room on my local disk for the game to save correctly.
