[PC] Can't connect to online matches:"Matchmaking Failed"&&"Server Disconnected"

Whenever I try to join a Battlefield 1 match, on any gamemode, it just gives me errors like " Matchmaking Failed, an unknown error occurred" or "Server Disconnected. You lost the connection to the session."

It's really starting to * me off since it worked just fine for the past week. But all of the sudden, when I try to play some BF1 with my friends I CANT JOIN ANY GAME!

I tried Portforwarding, repairing the game and even re-installing it.

None of these solutions seemed to work. If anyone has another option that worked for them: PLEASE TELL ME!

EA Support hasn't been really useful yet.

This has made me unable to play the game. I've seen quite some others with this issue and yet EA hasn't even responded to this error.

How are you attempting to join off of them?  Are you doing it via the in-game UI?  If so, try opening up your Origin Friend's list and joining via there.

There has also been some issue with the party system in the new UI.  When I have been unable to join my friends, I will just look at the server they are in on the home page of the UI, and then go to my server browser and type that server # into the filter and just join via there.

em no. the trying to join friends thing was just to try if my pc couldnt find any matches. I can't join any match at all > Not via browser, not via Quickmatch/operations or via friends. :P

  • Game worked up until yesterday. Nothing changed on my end but the whole day yesterday I got the same error. When I contacted EA support call me and the guy told me to run UO Trace then hung up. Terrible customer support.

I have also tried joining games every way possible: Custom Games, quick matches, DICE servers, you name it.

    Still looking for an answer.

Did you try unplugging your router for a couple of minutes? That worked for me.

Yes, I have power cycled my modem for 5 minutes and no effect.  I have run the game as administrator with no effect.  I have run Origin as administrator with no effect.
