(PC) Failed to connect to ea online

Every time I try to play Battlefield 1 it says Looks like you're offline! How about some campaign? or Failed to connect to ea online if I go to multiplayer and clicking GO ONLINE it loads but gives the same message

 I was able to play multiplayer from day 1 until the 18th of December of last year I talked to a EA Advisor in chat but it did not help

I've tried to fix it by

Restarting my router Reinstalling the game Reinstalling origin Resetting my computer to factory settings flushing dns it seemed to not do anything I also tried https://help.ea.com/en-sg/help/faq/connection-troubleshooting-basic/   and  http://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Complete-Support-Origin-Connection-Issues/m-p/5019298#U5019298 but it didn't seem to help at all

Error message: Failed to connect to ea online online features will be unavailable. Please try again. See http://help.ea.com/article/not-able-to-connect-to-online-play for additional information.

    Hello @Mrmakeshift2

    I can totally see why you are frustrated, considering all the troubleshooting steps, you have taken so far. On few occasions I`ve seen posts from people, who were able to fix this only with their ISP replacing the router model. Any chance you can test the game, using alternative Internet connection? Maybe a mobile one?

    Cheers,

    Archi

  • Thanks for the response I tried using a mobile hotspot connection and I got the same error :/ Maybe I might be banned i'm not sure.

    If you were banned, then you should get a mail about this. Check your email.

  • I have a VPN program but I have it off most of the time I also ran a clean boot of my computer and I got this message one time (YOU HAVE LOST CONNECTION TO THE EA SERVERS online features will be unavailable. Please try again. See http://help.ea.com/article/not-able-to-connect-to-online-play for additional information.)

    {but after that I get the original Error message: Failed to connect to ea online online features will be unavailable. Please try again. See http://help.ea.com/article/not-able-to-connect-to-online-play foradditional information}

    Hello @Mrmakeshift2,

    Please try repairing the game by right clicking on it in origin and pressing "repair game". When its finished, try launching it again. If it still fails, try clearing your origin cache as described here.

    If you need further assistance, please feel free to ask inhere.

     Greetings,

    Babyhuehnchen
