[PC] FPS drops during Multiplayer.

[PC] FPS drops during Multiplayer.

Hi, there.

Ever sins I bought the game during the launch week my game has been paged by low FPS during multiplayer. the problem is still hurting my BF1 experience. I have tried sins an number of “Fixes” some work better than the other but my gaming experience didn’t improve even though my fps counter went up a notch I still would keep a awful lag and stuttering. During a game I can get an average fps of around 40FPS this is strangely through for all graphic qualities on low, mid, high settings I will keep the same amount of fps. This was difrent during the closet and open beta of the game than I would get on high 50/60 FPS that’s the whole reason I bought the game.

So after 2 years I will finally ask someone what can I do to fix this.

PC Specs:

Windows 10 pro
AMD Athlon X4 860k quad core processor

AMD Radeon R9 380 Series

8GB DDR3 Crucial Ballistic

  • Hey @Dutchgames247,

Have you tried turning off the Origin In-Game Overlay in the Origin Launcher, and the Battlefield 1 Game Properties in Origin?

Also, check the Framerate Limiter in your game settings, and make sure it's not on "Unlimited", set it at 60 or 120, and see what happens.

You're also running DX11 right? DX12 is known to cause some issues.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks 🙂

    Thank you for your suggestion.

I tried what you suggested but unfortunately it made none or little difference.
