PC Version - I see Campaign Progress in Browser but when games starts I am back at square one

I progressed all the way to Tashgar when I hit a bug brick wall and was unable to progress any further due to a bug crashing the game at the same point every time. I gave up on the campaign until the patch came out last week and I thought i woudl give it another go. However now when I try to start the Campaign from the Battlelog browser where i can observe my progress to Tashgar Level 6 or whatever it is whenever i start the campaign and the game itself opens I find myself back at Baku on the very first level again. this obviosuly suck big donkey dong and I wondered if anyone else had encountered this and/or fixed it?

Quitting the game again back to the browser I can still see my progress in the battlelog.
