PC version of Battlefield 4 stays on loading screen eternally!

I literally cannot start the game at all. I get as far as the loading screens and it just stays there forever till I alt+tab out and end the processes. I even downloaded the latest Nvidia drivers released yesterday but nothing is working.

Specs.

Cpu: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition 3.4GHZ
Mobo: MSI 890GXM-G65 Gaming Edition
Gpu: PNY GTX 650 1GB GDDR5
Ram: 8GB Gskill Ripjaw ram
HDD: 1TB Samsung
Os: Windows 7 Ultimate 64

Anybody else know of possible workarounds?

  • GUYS! I got it working now! I repaired my game and ir redownloaded 111mb of files and now I am playing in the test range just fine! Anybody else got this problem update Punkbuster, drivers, and the other files the guy above me said to run just in case and it should work! I am so happy now I can get my drink on and have fun for the rest of the night! Thanks for the replys everybody!

    This is the biggest load of rubbish I have seen in years.I have tried every possible option to load this game without a result. I am logged in as administrator and removed virus scanning, but still nothing. How can I load this from disk so that it works?

    I have tried everything also. I bought BF4 for my new computer to replace my crappy 360 version. Looks like I'm getting back on Xbox live and returning this game.

    Hold down the Windows key and press R. (This will open the Run dialogue.)
    Type msconfig and press Enter.
    In System Configuration, select the Tools tab.
    Select Change UAC Settings and click the Launch button.
    Pull the level to the down position Never Notify and click the OK button..

    Restart your pc after.!!!!!!!

    This worked for me,mabey it also works for you.

  • I tryed everything then i found that in firefox in memu. In the add ons  battellog game luncher was not actived. So i actived it all good hope this mite help someone. JFWatt

    Everyone should try this, this fixed the problem.

    Prior to trying this fix, i repaired the game. So i would advice you repair then try this fix

  • My screen is also gets stuck while loading the game. I downloaded BF4 a few days ago and couldn't play it since. When I start the game a black window just opens up. It goes fine for a few seconds but after that the small white line on the upper right corner of the screen just gets stuck and the game wouldn't start. I can't find a solution. It would be very kind of you guys if you can give me the solution to this problem.
