[PC] "You have lost connection to the session" on loading new map

The problem:

Ever since the "You Shall Not Pass" update, when loading a new map, I often get disconnected, and get the following message: "You have lost connection to the session".

It seems to happen more on specific maps. When loading Amiens or Ballroom Blitz, I know I get this error for sure. Other maps it happens less frequently, but it still occurs. I never had this before the update, but now it happens all the time. Sometimes I go to quickmatch, and have to load 3-4 times because I get the connection lost message. I never have problems during a match, only when loading a new map.

Any help with this problem would be appreciated.

My system:

OS: Windows 10 Education 64-bit
Model: G1.Sniper B5
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz
Graphics Chipset: AMD Radeon R9 200 Series
Memory: 8GB

What I tried to fix the problem:

Repair the game

Disable XBox DVR

Reset modem

Soo I seem to have fixed it. Atleast for me. I had DX12 turned on in Video settings. I turned it off and I just loaded into a conquest game, disconnected, and repeated 5 times. I didnt get stuck once. So I tried playing one game fully and seeing if I can load another map then. No issues occured. So basically turning off DX12 should help. If not then I am sorry I can't help anymore

  • In BF4 i disable a connection options in the final part of gameplay settings.
    (I do that)
  • I KNOW THIS IS AN OLD THREAD. BUT THE BEST SOLUTION IS TO RUN BOTH ORGINS AND BF1 IN ADMINISTRATION MODE.  it solved all the network problem i had. no need to clear dns cach or any other things. just run it in admin mode.

I'm closing this thread to stop it from being necroed.

If you have any issues with Battlefield 1, please make a new topic about your problems and what kind of steps you have tried to solve them.
