Portable Battlefield

Hallo All.

I Have downloaded Battlefield 4 - (24 gigs and 2 weeks of downloading later).

And now I need to format my PC. Is there any way I can save the files so that I don't have to redownload the whole thing?

Any Help would be appreciated

How To: install from backup

1. Take a backup of the game, normally at C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games not from documents
3. Start Origin on the intended installation computer and download BF4 for a couple of minutes
4. Close Origin
5. Copy over the backup, overwriting all files
6. Start Origin again, it will verify all the files and just adjust the registry and download the settings files.

I have tried it a couple of times for BF4 and once for BF3. It ofc. requires something to keep the backup on while you format.

I have used this way too several times.

Used it for BF/BF2/BF2142/BFBC2/BF3/BF4/MOH/MOHw/Crysis2/Mirrors Edge/MOH Airborne/Bulletstorm and more.

On certain games like MOH2010 and BFBC2 you still might need to update again though, probably due to the way the

update is stored/registered in these games.
