As this issue seems to have been resolved with new drivers I'll mark this thread as solved now.
Happening to me....
16 g ddr3 game will lock up and system will be stuck at 98% ram usage even after game closes.
SAME HERE!!!! Were is the fix? It's been this way for over two months now.

8 GB memory
i5 CPU
Have to run game in 32 BIT.inorder to play a complete round before it spikes to 98%..I have to reboot PC twice to clear memory.

Memory leak in Windows 8 8.1 addressed by Microsoft.
Update windows all of them including optional ones.
Main problem was seen due to Desktop resolution being set to a different in game resolution, if viewed and tracked with windows mem manager, you could see the memory use drop off when ALT TAB out of game.
Memory leak should not occur if windows updated, and Desktop resolution and in game full screen resolution set to the same.
Problem affected mainly ATI and Nvidia users, normally using 8gb ram, no pagefile and 2gb Graphics ram.

I can tell you that this is not this problem, or not mostly anyway. I has happened without alt tabbing, with the same resolution on both desktop and ingame with graphics cards below 1,5GB of gfx memory on a fully updated OS.
