didnt work, **bleep** them
Alright,
This mem-leak issue plagued my system for longest time and I would just quit the game before every new map, and re-join. I then did a crap ton of troubleshooting. Like going from Windows 8.1, back to Windows 7, still had mem-leak. It wasn't till I screwed the video settings in BF4 did I fix it. I've now gone back to Win 8.1, and this method below STILL works for me.
I fixed the issue 100% for me by running bf4 video settings @ automatic. If I went over to custom, and kept the automatic values in video settings, I was still good. So I went up from there and noticed that I could turn any other setting up except Texture Filtering.
As soon as I brought Texture Filtering from medium to High, I got the mem leak again.
This might work for others too - try and post. It's worked for me for the last week.
I'm at work and Haven't tried the new patch yet.
I'm running
Win 8.1
Catalyst 13.12
Phenom II X4 965 @4ghz
8GB Patriot DDR3
2X 6850 in Xfire

my texture filtering was at medium, I put it on low. Played for an hour+ and it was fine. Going to try again now...
