As this issue seems to have been resolved with new drivers I'll mark this thread as solved now.
I just now found this old thread with an AMD dude collecting info and afterwards telling everybody that a patch fixed "the memoryleak problem":

:o didn't know it also happened in win 7 64.. that's crazy, but what I found the most crazy is how the leak is still here for me when it happens even after a restart, like WOooW I need to like reinstall AMD drivers to get rid of it, i going Nvidia for my next card that's for sure though.
And also the last time it happend, actually, while installing the latest AMD drivers I got a bluescreen of death, which, actually when restarting literally screwed up my windows I had blue screens upon blue screens couldn't do anything.. so yes it's a serious issue and it can break your windows grr.. so I had to do a system restore and since that day I make sure I run that script everytime I play.. and yea didnt had a blue screen in a week so it's really related to that issue, totally crazy I'm telling you.
