premium code

hi my name is fasterbear40 and i bought the game brand new still in package and my code isnt working. i owned the game on xbox 360 and got a ps3 for christmas from my wife and when i bought the game it wouldnt let me use my code. fb3e-47nm-m553. plz assist if at all possible plz

  • You can't active Xbox 360 codes on PlayStation 3. That's not how it works. You'll have to buy the Premium for PS3 again.

    A separate registration is required for each platform, and Origin has conflicts with following installs from disk media.  Each platform and game establishes a permanent link to a single player account.  But disks don't know how to aviod re-registering every time.  There's a work-around that often fails, involving pausing an install to skip the disk's insistence on registration, but the easiest thing is to accept a free digital copy to install after the first time.

    Multple platforms and / or multiple accounts cannot share the same CD Key code.

    That makes the case sound like one where the retailer has attempted to pass off a used game for new (resealing it in plastic to imply it's never been opened}.  There is no support for reselling games that have previously been registered, and the retailers know that. 

    P. S.  Your question is so generic, it makes no difference, however the BF3 game has its own dedicated forum here, and you've been using the Hardline game's forum, just so you know,

    OP since you purchased a new sealed copy of the BF3 premium edition and the code is coming up as invalid you'll need to speak to a Game Advisor who can audit the code and correct the situation.  Please ensure you have your receipt handy in case the game advisor asks for it.

    You can reach a game advisor here:  https://help.ea.com/contact-us click on the orange button on the right to start a new case, follow the instructions and when you are presented with a contact method I recommend that you use the telephone option and the “call me” option so you don't have to stay on hold for a long time. The call back feature available to North America, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Slovakia, Switzerland, and the UK.
