Problem BF1 on Win10: Menu keeps reloading
Hello,
Does somebody know the solution to the following problem?
I have a very annoying problem that some people seem to have had in the past, but there doesn't seem to be a solution for it.
After I update the user interface the main menu keeps reloading. You can see that by the loading icon popping up every time as well as the music changing constantly. This blocks me from using the Server Browser, Options menu or any kind of other menu. Also when quitting a server I always get a black screen. The only way out is to quit the game with ALT-F4.

Things I've tried so far:
- Deleting Battlefield 1 settings folder under Documents: It just resets the situation before the update.
- File compare of BF1 settings folder before and after the update: Nothing really conclusive.
- Trying on another PC (which still had Origin on it): I was the option to use local settings in stead of cloud settings. I tried the local settings but after the interface update I get the same issue.
- Procmon: I did not see something special going on.
I do really appreciate the help because I want to play this gem from time to time.

I finally found the solution for me 🥳. I don't know if it fixes it for your specific case.
I tried everything (repair game, reinstall game, trying to find the game folders from a backup, ...). In the end I also started stopping processes and it was the Corsair iCue that was blocking it.
After I closed it completely ("Quit" in the option menu when opening it from the notification area) I didn't have the problem anymore. The menu stopped reloading all the time and I could change my settings, etc with ease. Afterwards I quit the game. I started iCue again and when opening Battlefield 1 the menu issue didn't re-appear.
My guess is that Corsair iCue had something in it's profile to have a specific color scheme for Battlefield 1 which blocked the complete UI update.
