Problem with Joystick : HOTAS Warthog unsupported in-game

Summarize your bug HOTAS Warthog unsupported in-game. Stick can be mapped, however the throttle block is not recognized
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Plug-in a HOTAS Warthog to the computer. 2. Map the controller in BF1, you will only be able to map the stick. 3. Trying to map anything on the throttle block will be in vain. 4. No joystick
What happens when the bug occurs? Mild to moderate emotional response about incomplete joystick support.

  • The Thrustmaster Warthog works really well in Battlefield 1. You just have to create a blank profile (Profile without any assignments, just the stick and throttle inside) in the TARGET Software. This would create a virtual joystick that combines Throttle and Stick into one Device, so that you can map both in Battlefield 1. But keep in mind that you will just have 32 buttons available, due to a restriction of windows (i think). The Flightstick is fully mappable ingame, but the throttle can only be mapped to the boatswitch, but with all axis. The Console beneath the throttle is not mappable beside the grey slider.
