Problem with squad joining(pc)

I could play with my friend by joining his squad or he joins mine.  But a week ago the whole squad system seemed to have a update and I cannot find it on the right top of the main menu anymore. Instead there is a "party" on the bottom right, which I had never seen before. I tried to Invite my friend to my party or squad, but he didn't receive anything. He tried to invite me to his squad, but I didn't receive anything(I believe there was no "party" in his main menu).

    I will try to explain you how Squad Join feature works.

    In the Main Menu go to Multiplayer tab and click on Squad Join tab and select "New Squad". Then, you will be a leader of your squad. If you want to play with your friends, they also need to go to Multiplayer tab>>Squad Join tab and then they will see your squad in the list. Left-click on the squad to Join. You as a leader need to select a server and Join. That's all! 🙂

    If anyone's wondering now I am using the old website launcher, and join the same game after my friend had joined. Still don't know how to use squad but I guess this works 🙂
