PS3 1.15 game DNS change not working

I use mediaCom too!!. Funny. Nothing.. I tried so many times I have lost count.. I've tried the international and the Google DNS .. Nothing
Same.. maybe MediaCom somehow blocks the DNS change somehow?
- Thats it, it has to be related. I am calling them. I have had several issues with their service in the past not working. I will opst an update after I call. Good job for staying with it guys!
- Just as an fyi, I was also unable to get a successful Internet connection using the Cisco DNS servers. I stopped atfter the top 5. I even tried dling over wifi but was unable to get my ps3 to connect that way... I checked and rechecked settings, passwords, etc.. still nothing. I may not have reset my router and other equipment for a long enough period after the change.
I'm out of ideas for you guys, The only thing i could think of is maybe its the specific model of PS3 is giving problems.. Maybe try to find out what similarities you guys have to isolate the problem Model,ISP,Modem type, router etc..
You guys who fail at the update, maybe try checking available space on your system memory as well.. Having a full memory will slow down your PS performance and possibly result in the failure..
