PS3 LAG on Battlefield 3

For the past two months I've had horrible LAG. At first i thought it was my Internet and I had a tech come to the house and fix it but he said there was nothing wrong. I have a 15Mbps connection. Then i thought it might be my PS3 and i even went as far as trading it and buying a new one (thank god to warranty) and it was not that. I've rebooted my router, I've tried playing different games online and It only lags with BF3.

If you can have any other suggestions on what it might be and what i can do, it would really be appreciated. Note: the game worked fine before and it wasn't till i did the update before armored kill that i started lagging. I have a couple other friends that are going through the same issue and have not found an answer.

Could it be that with the new update the game no longer works on my TV? Would the UPDATE make my FPS drop on my TV? im running on 720p because thats the highest it supports. It worked before but im wondering if it was the update that caused this?

When i run conection test on my PS3 i get perfect connection as well when i run them on my laptop..

What can i do?

By the way my Ping is good. So speed and ping are not the problem

Nope that's not your TV neither your PS3 , the only culprit is Internet ..

if by server lag you mean dying from 1 hit i'm having the issue too. it takes me the usual 5-6 hits to get a kill but as soon as i hear or see their gun shoot i'm dead, from any range. i used to get time to run for cover or return fire but not anymroe. i'm in florida and i have tried everything mentioned above, even as far as portforwarding. i play only south/east servers and the last 2 weeks have been horrible. usually i quit a bad server and the next is ok but i can't find anything that works. i have fios 25/25 and over 300 hours on bf3. i can tell right away when i'm in a bad server, if a famas kills me 1 hit from 1/2 map away i'm out of there. please help, i can not play the game like this anymore.

the only option seems to be left is to test out the new ISP , you can try that on freind's place or neighbour i know it sounds weird but that is only how you will know about your ISP's flaws☹️

i tried setting ps3 to 480 and it seemed to help some, only 2 or 3 wtf deaths in a match. i have an older 40g ps3, would a newer version help? maybe my hardware is 2 or 3 seconds slow?
