PS3 online pass

So I bought battlefield3 along with my PS3 last year , haven't touched battlefield in quite a while and decided to go back to it, had a 2000mb update so I left it alone last night to update, came back to it today and when I go to multiplayer its asking for a online pass, now I bought the game brand new and still have my old online pass that came with the box, but when I enter it in, its saying its not valid, but it was valid at one point cus I have a level 26 account

so I thought that an online pass would be a 1 time thing for the account, and im not really sure if I should be asking about it here or on the PSNs forum but im just wondering if I can have my account verifyed that i did own the game and had an online pass and get a new one for my account, or if ill have to buy a new online pass and/or make a new account entirely.

    Hi there kingz00!

     

    If you want to be able to enter the multiplayer mode with more than one account, you will have to buy a new online pass for every account/profile you make.

    well i dont want to make a new account, i want to use the one i signed up with that has my level 26, i keep getting a message though thats telling me to buy an online pass but i had one and still do(although its saying its invalid) and i dont want to buy another pass when i already had one. and if i do have to buy a new key for my account even though i shouldnt need to , will i still be able to get on that same account, or would i have to make a new account for that new key.

    Hi again,

    If you can enter the profile, there shouldn't be a problem. Have you already used your online pass on the account with the Rank 26 soldier? Also, have you already used your online pass on another account?

    only used my pass on my level 26, and its linked to playstation account

    Open the PSN store, on the left hand side choose the category second from the bottm for your download history.  Scroll through your purchases and re-download your BF3 online pass and you'll be able to play online again.
