PS4- Commander Mode causing Server-side Crashing

Every time I join an Obliteration match and then enter Commander Mode, it causes a server-side crash. I know its server side because me and a friend were playing together last night and we would both get disconnected. Obliteration would not crash unless I entered Commander Mode, however. Is there any way to fix this, or any information on what may be causing this?

Also, we have so far been completely unable to join any conquest match, it always immediately loses connection; same question here.
